Bob Ringwood (born 25 November 1946) is a retired British costume designer. He is perhaps best known for creating the costumes for David Lynch's science fiction film Dune (1984)[1] and for Tim Burton's superhero films Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992).[2] He was nominated for two Academy Awards in the category Best Costume Design for the films Empire of the Sun (1987) and Troy (2004).[3]
