Jansen Visconti is an American umpire in Major League Baseball who was hired to the full-time staff in 2020 and wears number 52. [1][2][3] Jansen suffered a hand injury by a foul ball as home plate umpire on July 10, 2024 during the fourth inning of the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians game in Detroit. after being struck on his hand by a foul ball.
