Ignacy Mościcki (Mierzanowo, Batzarreko Polonia, Errusiar Inperioa, 1867ko abenduaren 1a - Versoix, Suitza, 1946ko urriaren 2a) poloniar kimikari eta politikaria izan zen. Poloniako presidentea izan zen 1926tik 1939ra.

Lanbide ibilbidea

Kimika ikasi zuen Rigako Politeknikoan. Han Proletariat ezkerreko erakunde klandestinoarekin bat egin zuen. Graduatu ondoren, Varsoviara itzuli zen, baina tsarraren polizia sekretuak mehatxatu ondoren erbesteratu behar izan zuen. 1892an Londresera joan zen eta 1896an Suitzako Friburgoko Unibertsitateko irakasle izendatu zuten.

1912an Lembergeko Politeknikoko irakasle izendatu zuten, garai hartan Austria-Hungariako Inperiokoa zena. 1926an Varsoviako Politeknikora pasa zen.

Lehendakaritza

Józef Piłsudskiren 1926ko maiatzeko estatu kolpearen ondoren, Mościcki presidente izendatu zuten. Bere agintaldian ez zuen inoiz Piłsudski mariskalaren erabakien aurka egin. Mariskalaren heriotzaren ondoren, Mościckik Edward Rydz-Śmigły jeneralarekin ituna egin zuen boterea banatzeko. Jenerala buru de facto bihurtu zen eta Moscickik presidente jarraitu zuen. Erregimeneko politikari moderatua izan zen, eta jeneralen gehiegikeria nazionalisten aurka agertu zen. 1939ko irailean Alemaniaren inbasioa gertatu zen eta Errumanian barneratu zuten. Handik Suitzara joateko aukera izan zuen.

Suitzan hil zen 1946an. Bere gorpuzkiak Varsoviako katedralean lurperatu zituzten 1993an.
