Les cours d'eau de l'Antarctique sont tous des ruisseaux provenant d'eau de fonte de glaciers. Ils sont de courte taille (l'Onyx, le plus long d'entre eux, mesure 40 km) et de débit irrégulier et fortement saisonnier.
