Arthur John Maude (23 Juli 1880 – 9 Januari 1950) adalah seorang pemeran, penulis naskah dan sutradara asal Inggris.^[1]

Biografi

Maude lahir dengan nama Arthur John Maud pada 23 Juli 1880 di Pontefract, West Riding, Yorkshire, dari pasangan William Robert Maud (1849–1919) dan istrinya Lucy Monkman (1853–1929).^[2] Ia kemudian mengklaim pada tahun-tahun berikutnya bahwa ia juga merupakan keponakan jenderal Inggris Sir Frederick Stanley Maude, pahlawan Perang Dunia I pada kampanye Mesopotamia,^[3] namun tak didukung oleh catatan vital dan sensus Inggris.
