Letjen Sir Edmund Francis Herring, KCMG, KBE, DSO, MC, KStJ, ED, KC (2 September 1892 – 5 Januari 1982) adalah seorang perwira senior Angkatan Darat Australia pada masa Perang Dunia Kedua, Wakil Gubernur Victoria, dan Ketua Hakim Pengadilan Tinggi Victoria. Seorang cendekiawan Rhodes, Herring masuk New College, Oxford, saat Perang Dunia Satu pecah dan bertugas dalam Royal Field Artillery di Front Makedonia, dimana ia dianugerahi Military Cross dan Distinguished Service Order. Setelah perang, ia berkarier menjadi barrister dan King's Counsel. Ia juga bergabung dengan Australian Army, naik pangkat menjadi kolonel pada 1939.
