Kapal selam Kelas Collins merupakan satu kelas yang terdiri daripada enam buah kapal selam berkuasa diesel-elektrik yang dibina dan dioperasikan oleh Tentera Laut Diraja Australia. Kelas-Collins dinamakan sempena Timbalan Laksamana John Augustine Collins; kesemua enam buah kapal selam telah dinamakan bersempena nama anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Australia yang penting dan terkenal semasa Perang Dunia II. Kapal selam ini sekarang merupakan kapal selam konvensional yang terbesar di dunia, dan menjadi kapal selam yang pertama dibina di Australia, secara tidak langsung membawa peningkatan di dalam industri Australia.

Kapal selam ini terpalit dengan pelbagai insiden dan masalah teknikal pada fasa pembinaanya termasuk dakwaan tipu helah dan berat sebelah semasa pemilihan reka bentuk, urusan penukaran yang tidak wajar semasa pembinaan serta kelemahan dari segi kemampuan utama bagi sebuah kapal selam. Masalah ini ditambah lagi oleh kegagalan Tentera Last Diraja Australia dalam menyediakan anggota untuk mengendalikan kapal tersebut. Pada tahun 2008 hanya tiga buah kapal selam jenis ini yang dapat dikendalikan. Manakala antara tahun 2009 hingga 2012 purata dua unit atau kurang yang beroperasi sepenuhnya. Prestasi teruk dalam pengurusan kapal selam Kelas Collins ini menyebabkan ia mendapat persepsi negatif oleh pihak awam. Walau bagaimanapun, setelah 20 tahun terlibat dengan pelbagai isu perkhidmatan kapal selam kelas ini akhirnya menyediakan kesiapsiagaan yang mantap kepada Tentera Laut Diraja Australia.

Kapal Selam Kelas Collin dijangka akan ditamatkan perkhidmatan pada tahun 2026, namun begitu Kertas Putih Pertahanan yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2016 bersetuju supaya perkhidmatanya dilanjutkan sehingga tahun 2030^[1]. Kapal selam kelas ini juga bakal dinaik taraf dari segi keupayaannya termasuk pada bahagian komunikasi dan sonar.^[1]
