Pothyne er en slekt av biller som tilhører den artsrike underfamilien Lamiinae i familien trebukker (Cerambycidae).
Utseende
Middelsstore, avlange, brunaktige trebukker. Antennene er ganske lange, hos hannene mye lengre enn kroppen. Hodet er påfallende lite. Pronotum er tydelige smalere enn de jevnbrede dekkvingene, omtrent sylindrisk. Oversiden er kledt med korte hår. Dekkvingene har fine, lyse lengdestriper.
Levevis
Larvene lever vanligvis i de hule stammene på storvokste urter, særlig tistler og lignende. De voksne billene finnes ofte på blomster.
Utbredelse
Slekten er utbredt i Sørøst- og Øst-Asia.
