Break the News (sh. Provali vijest) je britanski crno-bijeli humoristički filmski mjuzikl snimljen 1938. u režiji Renéa Claira. Temelji se na romanu Le Mort en fuite Loïca Le Gouriadeca. Protagonisti - koje tumače Jack Buchanan i Maurice Chevalier - su dva siromašna muzičara koji za sebe nastoje na umjetni način stvoriti publicitet tako što fingiraju da je jedan ubio drugog.
